Tea Reading or Tasseography has along history, growing in popularity during the 1800s as a way of telling someone's fortune by interpreting the patterns and placement of loose tea leaves left on the surface of the cup after it has been turned over. 

This wonderful little tea cup has symbols spread over three parts to represent the past, present and future and comes with a little instruction leaflet to get you started.
