Ammonite fossil pendant in bare copper

Wonderful ammonite with its deep earthly energy is believed to open the third eye and represent life's journey and our route to enlightenment ♡
These are the preserved coiled shells of extinct marine molluscs which existed approx 140 million years ago - ancient relatives of the modern day squid and octopus ♡
I decided to leave the centre of this piece open so the fossilised spirals are on show and have created the outside wrap using bare copper wire. This pendant measures approx 75mm top to bottom (including the bail) and is approx 55mm across. It is supplied on a generous length of black nylon cord with a simple slider mechanism so the length may be adjusted. 
Offered with its own black velvet pouch and a polishing cloth ♡♡♡
Please note: bare copper naturally oxidised and darkens with time. To bring your piece back to life, use a soft polishing cloth to buff it. ♡♡♡
